Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken breast

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt

  • 1 cup non fat cottage cheese

  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (adjust to taste)

  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)

  • 1/2 cup reduced fat cream cheese

  • 1/4 cup reduced fat shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

  • 1/2 package frozen chopped spinach

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste


Directions

  1. Combine the Greek yogurt, buffalo sauce, crumbled blue cheese (if using), shredded mozzarella cheese, chopped green onions, chopped spinach, cottage cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.

  2. Mix in cooked chicken breasts.

  3. If using a slow cooker, cover the slow cooker with its lid and cook on low heat for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally, until the dip is hot and bubbly, and the flavors have melded together. If you are cooking over a campfire, combine all ingredients in an foil pan or cast iron pan and cover with a sheet of foil.

  4. Once the dip is hot, give it a final stir and taste for seasoning, adjusting as needed.
